Easy to put together by myself. Took me about 35 minutes. Some of the metal to metal holes didn’t line up but all the other holes were pretty close enough to use the sharp screws. Haven’t bolted them to the porch floor yet so cannot review how well these stand up to high winds. Had a very strong urea smell so glad these are outside and not inside. Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Due to the natural material used, the color will vary and may not look exactly like the photos shown. These fences are not solid, and you WILL be able to see through them.

This worked absolutely perfect for my purposes! I did have to hire somebody to install them for me. They are heavy when they come in the role so it does take two people to attach it to the fence. The real wood, water-based stain panel design gives this privacy screen a stylish look in any yard. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our powder-coated aluminum posts prevent rusting and provide stability to your screen. This screen is no-dig and very easy to install without tearing up your yard or leaving large holes behind.

I am so happy with this privacy screen! I didn’t know until assembling that the feet can be put on horizontal or vertical, I choose vertical. This comes with cement screws as well and pre-drilled holes in the feet. This is a bit more wobbly than I expected, but the test will be an Iowa winter, yet to come. This does have pretty good ventilation through the slats though so I’m hoping it will last awhile. Super cute for decorating! Provides privacy exactly where I needed it. Update even when I had it weighted at the bottom and I thought the Iowa winter wind would vent through okay, it did not hold up. Used this to complete a screen around our HVAC and backup generator as required by the township. This is expensive compared to other screen options. However, this screen is much more substantial than any of the alternatives I've seen. Others are perhaps 1/8" thick, bend like cardboard, and can be cut with a utility knife. This is almost 1/2" thick, almost impossible to bend, and requires a table saw or circular saw to cut. We just installed this retractable screen on our back paver patio for added privacy that we just weren't getting with plants. The main stand is sleek and easily hides up against a post on our pool cage and the receiving post is also barely noticeable behind a planter, we just need to create a cap for it so water doesn't sit inside and lizards don't setup shop in there. The screen itself feels thick and sturdy, the color is exactly what we wanted and it is not see through.
