These were slightly overpriced, in my opinion, but ultimately exactly what we needed--we had a height restriction, as well as a desired depth--and are serving us nicely. Assembly note: you have to drill holes in the doors, for the hinges, and I was a little worried that was going to lead to issues, but it worked out fine...I didn't have to adjust the doors at all, really (maybe I got lucky). Otherwise, these look great and do their job admirably! (tip: I used some of the cardboard from the box to support them on the carpet...without it, they weren't sitting quite straight / evenly). Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. It is a roomy pantry and it weighs about 120 pounds so have a hand truck ready at delivery. And greet your delivery driver with a cold drink. OK, the box arrived in good condition, about 9 of 10 score. It is always the corners that get beat up. But when I opened the box the pantry was very well packed with heavy corner protections. So check off all pieces and separate them but do not remove stickers from any. It took 12 hours over 2 days to assemble. I had a small problem with one cam bolt insert missing. I filled the plastic insert hole with wood glue that rectified the error from factory. It was actually fun seeing it come together. Study the manual 2 or 3 pages ahead and follow exactly and you'll have no problems. We use a furniture polish to wipe it clean and it's now full which means we will soon buy another. I purchased this cabinet for my small kitchen and it ended up being exactly what I needed for extra pantry storage. One thing I really love is how tall it is — it adds a lot of vertical storage without making the room feel crowded. If anything, it actually made my kitchen feel a bit bigger. It holds a great amount of items and has been really functional for keeping everything organized. For the price, I think it’s a very solid and affordable option. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because assembly does take some time. There are quite a few pieces, and it took me about 2 hours to fully put together. Also, the shelf heights aren’t adjustable, which may be a downside depending on what you’re planning to store. It’s obviously not a high-end furniture piece—it’s a simple white laminate finish—but that’s exactly what I expected for around $175. The laminate is actually a plus in a laundry room since it’s easy to wipe clean and doesn’t seem like it will show wear as easily as painted surfaces. My husband assembled it without any issues, and it feels sturdy enough for storing all of our laundry essentials. This cabinet is just the right fit for what we are using it for, a liquor cabinet. The color is gorgeous and the size just right. However it isn’t quite as stable as I would like so we might try to attach it to the wall if possible. Also, while moving the shelves, be aware that the little silver things that hold them up can fall causing the other shelf to fall if you move them. Going to look for better hardware for that.
