I like this cabinet. Assembling the arch was a MASSIVE pain, and it’s the first step of the process. Once that was finally done, everything else went relatively smoothly as I assembled it with help from my 11 year old. Some reviews comment on the gap between the doors, but that’s easily fixed by following the last step in the instructions and tightening one of the hinge screws slowly but surely until you get it where you want it. The photo makes the unit look much whiter than it actually is, but the color description does say “antique white” so… It really is an antique white, including small distressed lines. I love this solid wood pantry. The butter yellow is lovely and it seems very sturdy. We did pay the $113.00 extra to have it professionally assembled and that went fairly well. It came with two drawers but the handyman said he was unable to install the drawers. I really needed this for canned goods so I donated the unused drawers. I think the piece looks very nice and aesthetically pleasing. However, I do feel the price is too high for what you get. Once assembled, it does not feel very sturdy. The structure seems somewhat weak, especially considering the cost. One major issue is that the top section does not fully align or securely attach to the bottom section. It only has two small connectors holding both parts together, which makes it unstable. When you push it slightly, it leans backward, which is concerning. The material quality itself seems decent, but the overall construction is not strong. Out of all the furniture I have purchased from Wayfair, this is the one I’ve liked the least.. Patricia.
