It is what it is. I was expecting a a little heavier piece. It’s crazy light. I guess solid wood means something different than it used to mean. It’s made of 12” and 14”plywood with some solid wood trim. At least it’s not particle board. The hinges are not soft close so the doors slam shut. But they are stander hinges and I will replace one on each door with a soft close hinge. Seems like the manufacturer could have done that but hey they save 10.. Gerald. Saratoga Springs, NY. I do not recommend purchasing this product. Once assembled the entire cabinet is wobbly and unstable. In my delivery the bottom panel of a drawer is missing, the piston rings for the drawer are too high and stick out, and the cabinet doors, even if adjusted properly, do not close. The hardware that was included is mixed up in one bag and nothing is labeled. All of the labels on the wood pieces are faded so that I cannot see the numbers. The assembly instructions are small print and do not specify the orientation of many of the pieces. I am extremely disappointed and we have spent an entire day assembling a $500 piece of junk..
