It works fine, but has some serious quality issues. The grate on the top that sits over the coals buckled warped and popped after the first fire. And when my husband was putting it together one of the screw holes wasn’t threaded and he had to finagle it. They offered to send us a new unit but we’d have to dissemble, box and ship the entire thing back. We decided to toss the grate and keep the unit as all the other elements work fine. The Tahoe 45ol outdoor linear gas fireplace has been built tough to weather whatever the elements can throw at it. This unit allows wood framing and can be installed without a surround, finishing material installed right up to the glass for a simplified modern look, or with the durable 3” stainless steel surround. The unit even comes with a stainless steel cover for protection when not in use. Tahoe 45ol comes with a rock and Black Onyx fire glass media, and a stainless steel frame.

We received our order. It looked on the line like it was a one solid piece of furniture when we got it. It was in a dozen or more pieces. That is not what we thought we were getting. Maybe I didn’t read it. Good enough I don’t know, and I just assume that all of these gas heaters had blowers Did not have one so now I’m stumped. How do I get a blower in that?
