I got this three panel solid core door to replace my existing hollow bathroom door after it became damaged. The new door is noticeably heavier but has a more modern look and feel to it than my previous door. The door itself is beautiful! There are a couple downsides to it though. I received one as a gift from my daughter and I loved it so much I purchased another. Both same size. The first one had to be shaved down to fit the same opening and the second one fit. Same size opening! A lot of work for making door handle openings and hinges as well. If you use for sliding barn doors you’re golden there. Also there is such a strong odor to these doors that make your whole house smell like fish. Seriously like fish! I had to let them sit in the garage for a bit to air out but still didn’t help. I even had family member’s come over to see them and they were like it smells so bad in your house like fish. I never mentioned that to them at all! Start of highlighted quote:Anyway the look is beautiful and the light shining through them is pretty too. Just wish there was no smell like this!End of highlighted quote Side note… painting didn’t help!. Bridget. Chicago, IL. Fri Oct 02 2026

However you only get the 2 doors there is not 1 additional part included which is not what online states. The wayfair listing in 2 different places states certain items are included and th3y are not...it is only the doors. There are not even holes for the door handles. Nothing included made the assembly alit more difficult spite wayfairs listing stating how easy it would be..lol. however they are up and they look great.  I have them on my master bathroom and will soon frost the windows for privacy.. Its frosted glass panel balances natural light and privacy, while the smooth sliding mechanism maximizes space efficiency. Designed for easy installation, this door blends seamlessly into contemporary, rustic, or transitional interiors, making it a versatile upgrade for your home.

Great Product! The quality is quite decent for the price. Only quality concerns are on the hex bolts and the wood joinery but nothing too concerning. Everything else, like the primary hardware to hang the door is good sturdy quality and once put together this door looks great. The instruction manual could also be a little easier to follow but that is a minor drawback. Other than that it is very much a good value and nothing to really complain about. What would truly put this at an excellent 5 out 5 stars would have been having a header board included as I do believe the weight of the door always does seem to warrant the need for one.. Jose. Perfect to close off our laundry room without it having to swing open into the dining area. I painted the door to match my trim. I had to scuff the finish and then use a special type of primer so the paint would bond correctly. But it’s working great so far! I didn’t build the door. Thankfully my husband took on that task. It took him awhile. I heard a few choice words but it was worth it!. Stephanie. Meridian, ID. Thu Oct 29 2026
