Such a great door! Arrived with no damage, well packaged. It’s a solid, heavy door and seems to be good quality. The paint is a nice finish so it can go without painting if needed, but would need a light sanding if you’re planning to paint.. Sherah. Talladega, AL. Sun Aug 02 2026

The paneled Solid Wood Primed Shaker Standard Door is made from a solid wood core with an MDF face for a smooth finish. Shaker doors will give any room a modern, clean design.

We used this door for a hallway bathroom that has a small door frame. It was perfect. It was fairly easy to hang. We'll likely paint it but the primed door looked great. What I like most is the horizontal paneling. It doesn't come with the door hole already cut so we plan to do that next. It was a good selection for the price!. Latesha. Silver Spring, MD. The RomeDay 5‑Panel Solid Wood Slab Door impressed me right out of the box. It has a sturdy, substantial feel thanks to the solid wood and MDF construction, and the panels arrive pre‑assembled, which cuts the installation time way down. Even without prior experience, the setup is straightforward and doesn’t require drilling or complicated hardware. The surface is smooth and DIY‑friendly, making it easy to paint or customize to match existing trim. I also appreciate the water‑resistant design, which makes it suitable for bathrooms or humid areas without warping. At 32" x 80", it fits standard openings well, and the clean 5‑panel style blends seamlessly with modern or traditional décor. The door has a nice weight to it, offers good sound insulation, and feels far more premium than many hollow‑core alternatives. Oh my goodness what a heavy door. Beautiful and packaged extremely well. When I carried the door inside I was surprised by the weight of it. The borders on the inside of the package were “framed” by wood and styrofoam and the door itself was wrapped in plastic. I knew then it was going to be a quality door if they were going to these lengths to protect the product they ship. Dimensions were exact specs I ordered. It comes primed in white but the base white paint I use is brighter so I will be painting them. This door beat all my expectations. Thank you Besthome.. Freddy. Wed Oct 07 2026

Factory-finished in white with a waterproof coating, it's low-maintenance and ready to install. 𝐮𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 and fully customizable, this slab works with any hardware setup you choose. Q: Is the glass safe? A: Yes. It's made of tempered safety glass that resists impact and shatters into small, blunt pieces if broken. Q: How much can I trim? A: Up to 0.5" from each edge – top, bottom, left, and right. Q: What's the advantage of an 𝐮𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 slab? A: You position handles and locks exactly where you want them – no factory holes to limit your design. Q: Why this over hollow core or solid wood? A: Outperforms hollow in noise reduction and durability; costs less and warps less than solid wood – the ideal balance of performance and value. Q: How to clean it? A: Glass with standard glass cleaner; the MDF frame with a soft damp cloth. Q: Where does this door work best? A: This door is ideal for spaces where you want to share natural light between rooms – home offices, dining rooms, sunrooms, pantries, hallways, and living areas. It also works in bedrooms or closets where an open, airy feel is desired. Its 𝐮𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 design allows installation as sliding, pocket, barn, folding, French, or pivot doors to fit any layout.

The quality of the door is great. It was exactly what we needed. Here’s what it looks like mid-install. Unable to provide a picture of completed installation, because 1 out of 2 doors was damaged in transit but Wayfair helped me quickly connect with the manufacturer and they arranged a replacement part..
