Danyani Maldonado. Louisville, KY. EightDoors’ 4 Lite Frosted Barn Door is designed to provide timeless beauty. The tempered frosted glass lets light through, saving energy while offering privacy. A barn door comes as a high-demand product: while standard doors will take up a considerable area to swing open and close, sliding barn doors only need adequate wall space, meaning you can use your square footage for furniture and decor. This solid wood door is made from planted forest trees in accordance with FSC regulations, being an environmentally friendly product. For a great and smooth finish, MDF veneer is used on the faces with 3 coats of white primer so you can add the finish of your choice to offer a bit more protection to the wood to last for years to come. This door has a trimming allowance of 1/4 in. on each side and 1 in. at the bottom. Any trimmed edge must be sealed or painted to protect from moisture. Pair it with EightDoors’ Black Matte Interior Hardware Kit for a seamless installation.

Perfect to close off our laundry room without it having to swing open into the dining area. I painted the door to match my trim. We love this door! We previously had a door that opened inward to our very tiny bathroom and this has been a huge space saver. It was super easy to paint to fit our decor and to assemble. I am giving this five stars because everything came intact. I could see once I get it up it will be exactly what I wanted. However, I was not thinking when I ordered it that my thermostat would be in the way. The reason why I do not have a picture of it fully up yet is because now I have to figure out how to bring it out at least by 2 inches so when the door slides back it will not interfere with the thermostat. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out I'm thinking about getting a 2x4 board to go across my wall and then I think I could attach everything else. I also must mention you will definitely need two people to put it up.. Rhonda White-lee. Glen Head. Sun Jun 28 2026

Upgrade your home with this Black Chevron Barn Door. The heavy-duty carbon steel hardware ensures a silent and smooth sliding experience, making it ideal for bedrooms, laundry rooms, or pantries. Built from high-density engineered wood to resist warping, this complete kit offers a professional-grade interior upgrade that's easy to install and maintain.

I am super impressed with the quality of these barn doors. The design on the front of the doors is spectacular. It definitely stands out. The black color is a subtle black so it doesn’t look harsh in the room. It blends well and the doors look more like decor. They are functionally amazing. They glide extremely smooth along the rail. I did put a header board in because they were heavier than I expected, but with a header board, they feel solid in the wall. These can be hung on a regular drywall wall or concrete. I have a concrete floor and I’m still adding flooring so I didn’t put the bottom guide in so they separate a bit right now when closed but once I get the guidance they’re gonna be perfectly lined up absolutely happy with this purchase..
