It's solid and built well. The problem in our situation is the hardware hangs the door too far away from the wall. It creates an undesirable opening on each side of the door. We need to build out our trim behind it to resolve this. The functionality of the bi-fold is great for a tight fit in a room or where you want to preserve wall space over a regular barn door..
