This is a very very heavy door, which is perfect for a barn door, but not a one person job. My biggest issue is that the last two pieces of glass I had to saw out the wood as they would not slide into the grooves. I even tried to swap them out with other pieces. It was very time-consuming and ruined part of the track that took the glass slides into, but it was the only way to get the door fully together. It is otherwise a very nice addition to our home.. This product is very solid and great quality of materials. It came on time and was easy to assembly. Only thing that surprised me was the weight. It is very heavy and the hardware including the rail is heavy and solid. Instructions for assembling the door are easy to follow. It took longer to install a header board and the rails then to assemble the door and hang it. I love the quality and its moves very smoothly. I ordered the 48 x 84. Ok, it took almost 3 months for us to get this precious door delivered. And took some precise measurements and planning to put everything together! We opted out the head board, instead we drill holes on the track to line up with the studs and use the recommended spacers to bring the door forward to avoid the trim, and it looks fantastic! I just completed the staining using coffee which gave it a beautiful golden brown color, the wood took it well and I was pleased with the quality of the wood and frosted glass. I then added a couple of coats of tung oil which I do not recommend. I sanded it down and stained it again, but this time applied one coat of satin varnish and wow, turned out beautiful!!. Debra.
