I’m quite happy with this door. Delivery took longer than expected but that was the only con. My handyman and his helper installed it in under two hours. The first 30 minutes were spent laying out the hardware, making sure all the right pieces were sent and then meticulously measuring. They said it was a straightforward installation. I need to pull the leading edge of the door out when i close it because of the shoe (aka, baseboard) but that’s easily done. I can find no reason to give this door less than 5 stars.. Christina. High value product and equipment. Due to our own mistakes it took longer than hoped. But my husband felt the directions were clear. We followed them too precisely not allowing for added clearance for some floor outlets that were in the door path so we had to do some readjustment. A few minor marksscratches from shipping and installation but whiteout was all that was needed. We may paint later but they work as is. Perfect solution for enclosing our loft for more privacy as a bedroom but without sacrificing the banisters or using it as an open area again.. Frances. Lexington, KY. Thu May 28 2026

These were perfect for a laundry room I framed in my basement. Relatively easy install if you have general construction knowledge and your rough in is correct. Glass is see through. Lubann barn doors bring the warmness of color and richness of genuine rustic wood characters to American homes. Wood products are valued largely based on the wood species used in those products. What separates alder wood barn doors from barn doors of pine wood or other wood? Warm color and rustic look. Lubann barn doors are constructed of high-quality American knotty alder. Alder wood features beautiful wood grains and rustic knots, characters make each Lubann barn door aesthetically unique and rich in natural wood beauty. Besides, hardwood alder wood is more durable and stable than pine wood, and easy to be stained. Alder wood used in Lubann barn doors is milled in the US and certified by the National Hardwood Lumber Association. We take pride in preserving the natural rustic wood look and being environmentally friendly when making Lubann barn doors. No adhesive (a major source of harmful formaldehyde in engineered wood and imported wood products) is used in the wood. You are not only buying a barn door from us but also bringing home a piece of natural artwork. We proudly make Lubann barn doors in the US and offer the most popular American farmhouse styles and many size options. Each door is a hand-built and unique piece.

Overall, I'm not thrilled with these doors. The design is attractive (love the arches) and the price is fair. However, while the words "solid core" are used in this description, these feel fairly flimsy when installed. We also had significant issues closing one of the two doors, which requires a lot of force to push it closed. We are receiving a replacement door, so hopefully that will help.. Amanda. Kingston, NY. Adaptable to Any Space - The Louvered Folding Door System requires no wall modifications during installation. No masonry, carpentry, or complex renovation work cuts down on extra costs compared to traditional door setups. Its minimized clearance need also eliminates the hassle of door-to-door interference, making it ideal for both narrow corridors and open-concept areas.

Well made, however a few items: no predrilled holes in the actual doors for hinges that attach to the jamb, but they do have predrilled holes for the hinges that attach the bifold doors to each other. The hinges for the door jamb they include are non-standard (3” length instead of 3.5”), forcing me to buy the correct hinges for my door jamb. Also note that instead of one continuous top strip (for the magnets), they include two strips which weren’t wide enough for the door I purchased (60x80”). The doors themselves are well made. The doors are also not true white, but a greyish white, which forced me to paint the doors—an added step I wish I didn’t have to do.. Chris. Cary, NC. Sun Jun 21 2026
