This is a very very heavy door, which is perfect for a barn door, but not a one person job. My biggest issue is that the last two pieces of glass I had to saw out the wood as they would not slide into the grooves. I even tried to swap them out with other pieces. It was very time-consuming and ruined part of the track that took the glass slides into, but it was the only way to get the door fully together. It is otherwise a very nice addition to our home.. Package arrived, and it was a miracle none of the pieces fell out. My hat is off to the delivery driver, who must have worked hard to deliver all together. I just completed the staining using coffee which gave it a beautiful golden brown color, the wood took it well and I was pleased with the quality of the wood and frosted glass. I then added a couple of coats of tung oil which I do not recommend. I sanded it down and stained it again, but this time applied one coat of satin varnish and wow, turned out beautiful!!. Debra.
