I’m in love with the frame! I’ve had it a couple of months now and it’s holding well! It does come with wooden slats, to which I had to cover with a blanket because I was using an air mattress until my actual mattress came in and didn’t want to take any chances of it popping. I did have a different frame from Wayfair (the canopy frame which also held up wonderfully) but I’ve been eyeing this one (even before the canopy) and once I moved it was the perfect opportunity to snag it! We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. This bed is worth buying. Got it in the black full and white queen. Love the look and was easy to assemble. Had to request another piece because of damaged piece on the black bed. The white bed had the same piece damaged but not as noticeable as the black one so I believe they need to changed the way it is packaged to ensure the piece is not damaged. It is a very pretty and sturdy bedframe. I took a star off because they were not pre-drilled holes for some screws and that was unclear in the directions. It took me one hour and and and 45 minutes to put it together as one person.
