Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. The cushions have removable covers, but this couch is verryyy white so I’m nervous for it to get messed up. But I just had a big party with no spills! I do keep it covered most of the time with the cats and my youngest thinks it’s the best place to sploot on top - she sleeps here daily ). Would def recommend this couch! It’s fantastic!! Oh and it’s much higher than our old couch (easier to get up from) and the seat depth is really wide. It’s perfect for my 6’2 husband but is a little long for me at 5’7 to have my feet touch the ground if I have my butt all the way back… but as long as I put a throw pillow behind my back it’s perfect!.
