Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. Delivery was great: two guys moved my old couch for me then unpacked and put the new one in place. From what I explored at local stores I feel this couch was a good buy!. Nancy Justine. The sofa is amazing and beautiful… that itself was worth the wait as it was a custom-made item. However, the delivery service was awful. The gentleman who delivered the item took the plastic off while it was still in the truck and proceeded to mark up and stain the off-white couch between the truck and bringing it into our home. Unfortunately, there are 10 areas at least on the cushions and the couch that have been marked.
