Perfect as an entryway shoe bench, closet organizer, or end-of-bed chest, it features a lift-top compartment for quick access to small items like keys and wallets, plus a two-door cabinet with adjustable and removable shelves to fit 6–8 pairs of shoes or larger items like blankets and toys. The cushioned top supports up to 400 lbs and is upholstered in breathable linen with a hand-washable cover, while the ventilated cabinet doors help prevent odor buildup. Built with 15mm thick MDF and reinforced with four back plates, this bench ensures lasting stability and everyday durability.

The storage bench is cute, and fit in my space perfectly. I like the color a lot. Unfortunately it came damaged at the top corner, which of course is showing in an obvious place, couldn't be in a place that isn't showing, right? Wayfair offered a discount, but that doesn't fix it. The pad on top is fine, the material of the cover is very thin and flimsy, kind of like a very light linen. Can easily change it if I can find the right size. Overall, I would probably give this 3.5 stars, but I rounded up to 4.. Francine. North Grafton, MA. Mon Aug 24 2026

Sturdy and looks nice. I like it without the top cushion. Fits 8 pairs of size 10 women’s shoes very well. It would not fit larger men’s shoes. Size 11 women’s looks like would be the largest size it can fit. I got professional assembly because it didn’t look super easy to put together.. Shea. San Luis Obispo, CA. Fri Aug 14 2026

I love the couches, they perfected our dining space. Not easy to build and sometimes the arms/back get a little wiggly so you need to keep the parts to tighten it up. We sprayed them with a scotch guard spray to help keep clean. Cushions are comfy but firm which is nice so you don't feel like you are on a couch when eating at a table.. Lisa. MA. Sun Sep 13 2026

Crafted from solid wood, this versatile entryway bench combines timeless farmhouse style with practical everyday storage. The spacious 63-inch seat offers a comfortable place to sit while changing shoes, and the lower shelf keeps footwear or daily essentials neatly organized. Built with a sturdy frame and rustic wood grain finish, this shoe storage bench works beautifully in the entryway, hallway, bedroom, dining room, or at the end of the bed, adding both warmth and functionality to your home.

The bench is beautiful, and the colour is just like the photo. However, when people sit on the bench especially the middle, it sinks quite a bit and looks very weak. We will have to buy a piece of wood or something to put in the middle to help this which is discouraging considering the price we paid. We feel returning this bench and replacing it with something different is more effort than adding a piece of wood but if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have gotten this bench knowing what I know now.. The Amherst Small Entryway Storage Bench combines transitional design with everyday practicality, making it a stylish and functional addition to compact spaces. Handcrafted from solid wood and finished in a stain with protective NC lacquer, this bench highlights the natural grain while ensuring durability. At 36 inches wide, it comfortably seats two, and its lift-up lid with safety hinges reveals two large storage compartments ideal for shoes, bags, or household essentials. With classic framed panels, distinctive X-back and side details, and a versatile silhouette, this bench provides both seating and hidden organization for entryways, hallways, or mudrooms.
