This is a nice looking bench. All that had to be done to assemble was to screw in the legs…..SO easy. The fabric is a boucle with a nubby texture. The gray color is very pretty. The lid doesn’t open all the way up which could be an issue if you have something larger to put in it. But for the most part, it’s perfect for blanket storage etc. The lid does stay open when the hinges are locked making it easy to grab things from inside. Im pleasantly surprised with how cute and functional this is. The material is somewhat velvety but not exactly velvet. Sort of plush feeling. I like that you can flip the top over to use as a hard surface in a pinch. Large and beautiful. This is a grand piece of furniture and it really lights up the room. The green color is brilliant yet warm and inviting. Solid legs that attach with just a few screws. It was tricky to attach the legs because the screw holes were hard to see but I got it assembled by myself and the minor struggle was well worth it! The is a plush bench, quite comfortable and it is large. I love how the green chenille fabric changes color depending on the light. It's really pretty and can seat three small children or 2 adults comfortably at a dining room table. It would also look lovely in the foyer. Gorgeous piece and worthy every penny. I LOVE it!.
