We bought 4 stools for our island and they looks great. Assembly was little more difficult than expected, but directions were good. Seat cushions are very nice, but a little hard when you sit in them the first time. I expect that the cushions will soften up as they get used. Although they are a little hard at first, the cushions are still comfortable. We found these at the Wayfair store in Columbus, Ohio and were able to test them out in person before purchase. Mark. For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! This bar stool is so nice! We have three. High quality and a great size. They've held up with several years of use and still look great. Easy to spot-clean the fabric as needed.
