Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Beautiful Walnut bed frame. It looks really elegant and modern with a artsy touch. I loved it so much I bought a second one for my guest bedroom. The bed is very low but that’s something I was looking for. For the guest room I did add some bed elevation blocks only because I have items stored underneath. Very sturdy, and strong! it did take about an hour to build and it requires two people to hold some of the pieces up. It goes well with contrast deep green furniture or decor. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. This is a great bed, easy to build, sturdy, and the color is lovely. Our youngest loves his new big boy bed. We love all the storage for a small room. We also appreciate the drawers being on casters so that it’s easy to move them out to vacuum under the bed. I have a few minor gripes: figuring out the placement of the slats was awkward (it has improved from an earlier version of a similar bed, where each slat had to be screwed in; this one is easier). It would help to have guide marks on the frame as to where the slats should go. When the bed is finished, screws on the headboard are visible above the pillow. I don’t know why they’re not facing the back of the headboard. Lastly, I wish there were a cover for the drawers so that the things stored inside don’t get easily dusty.
