I’m sick of hard chairs. I wanted something comfy and padded and swively so people would stay at the table instead of migrating to softer furniture with food and for playing board games. Yet, I wanted a wipeable surface because…kids. I *almost* got what I was looking for with these chairs. They look nice and modern, they swivel well (some get a bit loose), and they are comfortable. The two cons that I have are 1) I wish the angle of the chair was a little more upright and 2) my niece spilled a drink and it seeped down to the padding because of the holes where the stitching makes “stripes”, so they definitely aren’t waterproof which makes me sad. These chairs are great! They fit into my small space very well and they are very well-made. They were easy to put together. The only suggestion I have is that you pay attention to the details in the pictures of how some of the parts need to fit together because if you mix up the parts placement that look similar, things will not fit together. Many times with directions you can just look at the parts if there are few parts and think you can quickly put them together and this is not that case with the chairs.
