Beautiful sofa with really nice and thick material. I the seats are quite wide and so it makes it comfortable. The color is really nice (linen) and feels sturdy. The only issue is that the sofa is quite a bit lower to the ground than any other sofa in my house and so it’s hard to pair it in the same room. I would say my other sofas are standard size and this one is at least 6 inches lower to the ground. Make sure you measure before you order. Positively IN LOVE with these sofas! Firm enough for me, soft enough for my husband. I’ve sat on countless sofas at furniture stores and immediately popped up with a “Nope!” So naturally I was nervous at 2k a pop, no cancels or returns and a front door that wasn’t quite 36” wide as needed per the delivery specs. They had the look I wanted which no local store seemed to carry, totally washable which is a must with large dogs so I took a chance- and oh am I glad I did. They took a few weeks to arrive but came earlier than expected. Delivery was easy- the guys were fantastic. I haven’t tried the sleepers- they’ll serve their need eventually. The couch itself is lovely. But when the men unwrapped it, it was absolutely filthy. There is not one panel that did not have some kind of stain or dirt. Worst part is, I think it’s grease in some areas because it rubbed on the wall and left a streak on the wall that only came out with magic eraser. All that being said. Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. This was worth waiting for. Beautiful lines, and nice and firm. It's hard to find a new sofa that won't look anachronistic in a vintage 1930 home, but this does the trick.
