I ordered this bed in the "Duck Gray" and was surprised to see it was a much lighter grey than the photo online. It's still a nice gray, but more of a light grey than a mid tone gray. Also the fabric looks more like a canvas linen than a true linen. The headboard fabric is not sewn directly onto the headboard, it is a slipcover that you slide over the headboard. At first I was annoyed but then I thought - well at least I can get it dry cleaned when it gets dirty - so it works out well. The bed took about an hour and a half to put together (with 2 people) but it's made well so it's very sturdy and was easy to assemble. It does have a sort of chemical smell to it, but I imagine that will go away with time. It also arrived 10 days sooner than originally anticipated which was a huge plus.
