Item came with cosmetic issues on every single piece (cracking, snag on top piece which was made worse from protective material). After constructing, noticed the left drawer was crooked. Took the drawers out to see why drawer was crooked and the entire middle support piece for the drawers was cracked and broken beyond repair SEE PHOTOS. Reached out to Wayfair which directed me to manufacture. Despite the several photos of cosmetic damage and the major structural damage, the response was to provide the numbered pieces & how many of those pieces are damaged to send individual replacement pieces. Response included: “ We are glad to ship free replacements. Alternatively, if the damaged part does not affect the product's usage after installation, we offer the option of a 25% refund of the item's price, in lieu of a replacement.” I clearly communicated structural damage & send several photos. This is resulting in a delay in receiving a proper replacement of the console table. I have requested a full replacement for console due to the cosmetic and structural damage. Looks sturdy. It was easy to set up but the extension cord for the light switch is a pain. It is advertised as a behind the couch and/or console table. We intend to use it behind the couch but that means that the extension cord will be in the way of people walking and can be a trip/fall hazard. I am not sure why nearly every furniture comes with lights and remote controls nowadays. I find this highly unnecessary. The unit is good looking. This console table is the perfect piece for my entryway. It has very clean lines with the wavy trim giving it visual interest. It was not hard to assemble. Really solid good looking table. Needed a skinny table to go under the TV in the bedroom. This fits perfectly and is out of the way when walking by it. Most of the assembly was easy with one person, definitely needed help at the end attaching the legs and trim.
