First, the positive comments: the table was a pleasant surprise in that it is more white than depicted in the photos. It is a sturdy table and the extension insert is easy ro put together, even though I am a senior citizen, with spine injuries. I did it myself. Many compliments were received. The negative part is that it arrived broken. The customer service was most helpful and we resolved the issue. Table was just delivered. It was wonderful to have all the packaging removed and have the pros put together. They were very quick. The table is very nice, perfect size. I will say the finish is somewhat disappointing, not the coloring or anything, that’s beautiful, just that it looks like it’s about to wipe off. In fact, some areas of table top are not equally stained. Also, one of the edges, where the table curves down is glued poorly. The seam is a bit raised and more pronounced than the other three sides of the table. I’m sure I could bring these issues up to Wayfair, but I’m worried I’ll end up with just another table with the same problems or potentially worse. The base is a substantial, sculptural wood pedestal. This table has weight to it and is very stable. It is paired with modern chair options previously purchased from Wayfair shown in the images. Any modern chair aesthetic would complement this table. It makes quite a statement but is highly serviceable, thanks to its durable stone top. The 59-inch round table accommodates eight seats, or potentially ten, depending on chair size. It took two people about 20 minutes to unpack and assemble. Less time would have been required, but lining up the holes in the top and the pedestal mounting bracket took some time, as they are not labeled to align and must be matched up; otherwise, simple to assemble.
