Overall, I like these a lot. I wanted something sturdy and basic in this room which houses my home office because I also have a lot of dumbbells and they were on a weight rack which I found to be somewhat unsightly. I had to deduct a star because I could not get the latches attached to the lid, no matter how hard I tried and the pre-drilled holes for the hinges were really not acceptable. In both of these chests, the middle pre-drilled hole was missing entirely. The others were just barely drilled and so I had to ask a friend to come over and help me get the screws fully screwed in. This was my first time ordering from Wayfair I ordered three items, and this is second item I received and assembled. When assembling this item, the front had a screw in stud that was attached to wood “bar”, however, there was a groove in the front, back and two sides to hold the “bottom” of the chest in place. Because the groove was so close to where the stud was screwed in, the particle board aka: wood, crumbled away, I had to use a new wood screw and wood glue to fix it.
