However, after reading the details and purchasing on “blind” faith, I must say that I’m very pleased with the final results! This easy-to-assemble piece instantly added a classy vintage vibe to my office. With a ton of shelf space, it perfectly marries design and practicality, making it one of my new favorites. My only critique is about the wood and material quality. It works nicely for what it is, but it can be easily scratched or dented, especially during assembly. I like this cabinet. Assembling the arch was a MASSIVE pain, and it’s the first step of the process. Once that was finally done, everything else went relatively smoothly as I assembled it with help from my 11 year old. Some reviews comment on the gap between the doors, but that’s easily fixed by following the last step in the instructions and tightening one of the hinge screws slowly but surely until you get it where you want it. The photo makes the unit look much whiter than it actually is, but the color description does say “antique white” so… It really is an antique white, including small distressed lines.
