I don’t think you’re gonna find a cooler barstool than these. Not to mention they’re extremely comfortable! I got the black seat with the gold stitched accent and the gold frame and they are gorgeous for our kitchen. They are stable and you do not have to worry about them holding up overtime as I feel they are very good quality. And I love all the options they offer for colors. I think they are very comfortable, but am not sure how they would be for prolonged sitting. I have had many back surgeries, so the fact that I think they are comfortable says alot. Purchased for a client's kitchen and it is exactly as pictured. Comfortable to sit in, with a firm upholstery seat. The swivel is not too "loose" which means that the seat stays put when you're getting in and out. The seat swivels with just the right amount of effort and the base does not extend past the seat when turned, so no uncomfortable pokes to the legs.
