I love the mid-century modern look of these stools. They are sleek and the faux leather is a beautiful white/ivory color. The legs of the stools are not a brilliant gold color...more of a darker version of gold. We haven't test the durability of the stools as we are placing them in a newly built-not lived-in yet home.
