These are really sturdy. The legs are wood but they have two metal square pieces that support the legs. Seats are super comfortable. I really love the overall look of these stools. The legs are slim and delicate, so they have a much lighter visual footprint than most similar bar stools, and the upholstered seats are comfortable. Unfortunately, I did have some quality/alignment issues. After assembling two stools, the footrests weren’t completely straight, the seats sat slightly crooked, and one stool had a noticeable wobble. Assembly itself was very simple (another bonus), so these seemed to be manufacturing/alignment issues rather than assembly problems.
