The instructions to attach the armrests and the footrest were missing but it was easy to figure out by looking at the illustrations. Assembly was mostly straightforward, and I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. The only challenge I ran into was with the armrests—the included hex wrench made it a bit difficult to reach tighter spaces. A longer, screwdriver-style hex tool would make that part much easier. I chose not to install the footrest since I already use a separate one, but everything else came together smoothly. All of the features work perfectly, including the height adjustment and reclining lock mechanism, which is a great touch for comfort during long work sessions. I just got it, haven't used it much, but it's great! I need to elevate my leg due to a knee surgery and I wanted to give this chair a try because of the foot rest. I thought the foot rest would maybe not go far enough to be able to extend my leg well, but it did! Is the right distance to elevate a leg, it's a comfy chair, you can adjust armerst, heigh of the chair, and position of the head rest. Also, when I fold it, it fits perfectly below my desk.
