This is a very good cabinet overall and I’m happy with it. It looks clean, modern, and fits well under a desk or in a small office space. I like this filing cabinet. It's a good size for the stationery items and files that I need to keep, although I needed to carefully organize my things to get all of the stationery items to fit. I'm giving the filing cabinet four stars because the soldering on one side of the back was broken when I received it. I reported the problem to Wayfair, and they put me in touch with the manufacturer. What followed was several exchanges with the manufacturer, where they offered a discount if I repaired the problem myself. I give the manufacturer credit for their communications, for sending me an assembly guide and video on how to remove the drawers when I had trouble taking the filing cabinet apart, and for following up with me if I didn't answer them in a few days. However, I did get a bit annoyed with the several exchanges and because I didn't think that the filing cabinet could be repaired without soldering, which I couldn't do, so I thought that it needed to be replaced. They wanted me to put screws in to hold the back panel in place. I tried to put screws in, but I found that there were no holes in the metal. The manufacturer asked me to drill a hole but also said that they would understand if I couldn't or wouldn't drill holes. I tried, but I couldn't drill a hole in the metal, so I asked if the manufacturer could replace the filing cabinet, and they did. Delivery was fine. The product not what we expected. Intensive assembly was needed. Instructions unclear. Instructions mentioned part numbers but the parts were not numbered. Instructions on a piece of paper with small pictures hard to match with product. We went to a nearby office supply store and bought an assembled filing cabinet with only the legs to be added. They said no one wants unassembled products like this. I can understand why assembly costs more than the actual product on Wayfair. We will not be using the Wayfair cabinet and will probably toss it.
