What helped when putting this cart together is rubbing some Vaseline petroleum jelly along the the edges where the plastic posts come in contact with the base and are inserted, as otherwise there is a lot of friction. Having two people really helped when hammering the posts in with a rubber mallet, to make sure the pieces all stayed in place. Trying to put this together by myself without my husband's help would have taken a lot longer and been more of a challenge. I purchased this cart for my dollhouse and associated miniature supplies. It fits the 2-story, wooden house perfectly on the upper shelf, with enough room underneath for my craft boxes. The dollhouse itself is quite heavy, but the cart is very sturdy and moves very smoothly when I want to take my hobby from room to room. I also like that the wheels can be locked in place. I am very pleased with the quality of this cart. I can now move my dollhouse and other items easily around when I want to, rather than always leaving them on a stationary table in one place.. Dana.
