I just received this mattress today, and my first impression is very good. It expanded nicely after opening and looks exactly as described. The mattress feels supportive but still comfortable, with a good balance between softness and firmness. The edges also feel more stable than I expected. There was only a slight new-mattress smell after unboxing, but it was not strong and started fading quickly. So far, the quality looks great for the price. This is a very heavy mattress as it has spring coils running thru the it. The mattress came in a compressed package and rolled up in a cardboard box. Once the package is opened the mattress will began to expand! It took at least thirty minutes before it expanded to 14 inches. I purchased the mattress in a size Queen. The mattress is excellent for persons needing extra support and made of gel-memory foam. It is mediumfirm and provides motion control from persons entering and exiting the bed. Highly recommended!.
