Easy to put together. Very sturdy. There are screws heads in the bed frame in 3 places down the middle of the frame and the center piece of the foundation sits on the screw heads. So it doesn’t fit flat on the frame. Either the makers of the bed or the foundation need to accommodate this space for the screw heads. We have the Heavy Duty Box Spring - Sleep by Wayfair™, but apparently the space between the slats in the box spring are too wide.
