Life changing! Unlike others who needed extra support - we had plenty on our nice platform bed. BUT, the mattress sat about 1.5” below the side rails making it difficult (and sometimes painful) to tuck in the mattress pad and sheets. The mattress seemed to weigh 100 lbs when trying to lift it with just your fingertips! With these wonderfully-crafted bunkie boards, we can easily get to the underside of the mattress to tuck in our linens - it’s no longer the literal pain that it used to be - thank you! The picture makes it look like 4 separate boards - and that’s technically correct, but the boards are actually connected by some fabric so you have a set of two rather than four individual boards. Which you then unfold and place on your bed frame. I actually like that better, having two moving parts rather than four, and the weight is not heavy.
