Our Serenia Sleep 10.5” Latex/Wool/Coil Hybrid Mattress is a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Certified Organic mattress-in-a-box. It is designed to deliver an incredibly comfortable GOTS organic-certified mattress at an affordable price. Our certified mattress combines organic wool, pressure-reducing encased coils, latex made from natural tree rubber, and organic cotton ticking for a more natural and comfortable sleep surface. The 2” latex made from natural tree rubber offers excellent comfort pressure point relief, resilience, and durability. The latex made from natural tree rubber is also ventilated for increased airflow which helps keep the mattress at room temperature. There is no synthetic latex used in this product. The organic wool batting in the top layer is naturally moisture-wicking, helps with temperature regulation, is antimicrobial, and is odor-resistant. Below the Natural Latex is an 8” encased coil with edge support for additional pressure relief, motion isolation, and airflow. To top it all off, our soft, breathable, and comfortable quilted mattress cover is made with premium, 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. I think this is a terrific mattress for the price. It looks and feels well-made and it's very comfortable, supportive, and soft to the touch. It was easy to slice open the plastic wrapping it came in without fear of touching the mattress with a sharp edge because a special little tool is provided to do exactly that. And it was fairly easy to maneuver it around by myself to get it centered on the bed slats. I contemplated ordering this mattress for a couple months before finally doing it and so far I have zero regrets! Shipping was fast, communication was great with tracking. Packaging was easy to open, and the mattress is great quality for the price. Firm and not flimsy, yet still soft. Just be aware you can feel springs if you’re not used to that and a topper might be desirable for daily use; this is a guest bedroom mattress for me and will work perfectly for that purpose.
