Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide. The drawers are shallow but still fine. Definitely need two adults to build this. It took two days and about 4 hours total. End product is great and i'm glad I got it. . Zainab. Cambridge, MA. My kids just grew out of this bed after 5 years and each is ready for another 5 years of rough and tumble use. One bed (the one used by the 14 year old) needs minimal care of tightening some screws. But they look and function good as the day we got them. I built them alone while watching a movie. There were a lot of moving parts but the instructions were adequate, the labeling was good, and with a bit of concentration it went smoothly.. Lua. KS. Sat Sep 20 2025

Looking for the perfect space-conscious option for your little one's restful retreat? Aloft bed like this is a great option for creating a handy hangout for homework or play beneath your child's bed. The slide ramp makes for a fun way to wake up, while the matching ladder helps your child safely climb into bed. A low-profile option, this loft bed is great for younger children.

Love this bed. So does my 4-year old son. good/sturdy quality. Came in 4 boxes/shipments, very quickly. No chips/dings/broken pieces. All hardware. Took about an hour and a half for my husband to put it together. We love it. Only thing I wish i would have realized before was regarding the mattress. I ordered a twin mattress. I didn't realize that a low profile mattress would be best for this bed. A regular size mattress is a little too high leaving only a little bit of the bed rails exposed. Also, a high mattress makes it hard to slide down the slide. So, we have to return our mattress and opt for a lower profile mattress to make this bed extra special. Just something to consider when getting the mattress. But overall we love it!. Alexis. Tampa, FL. Tue Feb 09 2016
