I replaced my over the range hood to stainless steel. It really makes the kitchen look better and pulls everything together. It was easy to install. Scan the Qr code to watch the installation video. Very nice Range Hood! Really good quality. The fan isn’t too loud and the light is VERY bright, but can also be dimmed. It also comes with a remote which is a nice convenience to have. There were also some extra goodies that came with it! I would definitely have this professionally installed by two (or more) people if you were considering doing it yourself. This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. The fan has 4 speeds, and although it’s not loud, it’s also not quiet. I had mine professionally installed. Per the installer, it wasn’t difficult to install. Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. So far so good. Install was relatively easy, but because of its size, having a few extra folks to help hold it in place would be a good idea. My wife and I managed, but it was a bit tricky for just us 2 folks to install and we almost gave up. The gesture control seems a bit finicky, and we can't get it to work reliably. Maybe with time we'll figure it out. The buttons work fine though, and the remote control is a nice touch. The stainless-steel finish, display, and led lights look great. Definitely an upgrade from the Broan powerpack it replaced. As far as noise, it seems to be as loud as our old Broan PM350 we replaced. The grates tend to vibrate a little, so that with the fan contributes to the noise. I was hoping for something quieter, but it's no worse than the unit it replaced, so not a deal breaker. As for airflow, it seems a bit stronger than the broan unit it replaced, which was rate for only 350cfm. This one is rated at 900cfm at max speed, but i don't have a way to measure/confirm that. The fan cage seems bigger, and it's been doing a good job so far of keeping the smells/vapors out of the kitchen while cooking. It arrived quite quickly, protected by plastic wrap and white foam. Installation was a bit tricky—we had a very basic, older-style hood before—but this new one has incredible suction power. We are currently in the process of adding the ductwork to vent it outside. Well this is a great product but putting it together was a lot! The instructions were hidden along with the screws necessary for installation. Very impressive range hood for our mini kitchen remodel. We just had this installed by an electrician friend - took him about 2 hours, but that’s because our old one was not a plug in and he had to drill a couple holes in our cabinet. The fan works great and the lights are nice and bright. The fan is a tad loud but I don’t mind because it works so much better than our old one. When they say that this is truly quiet it is kinda is but on highest setting its LOUD.... it really gets up the smells very powerful beautiful looking.
