It gave our kitchen a much more modern look, and I like the front controls and how easy the glass top is to keep clean. The oven has worked well, and I haven’t had any issues with baking. My only complaint is the cooktop when using cast iron. We cook with cast iron almost every day, and I noticed the heat doesn’t seem to spread as evenly as I expected. It’s not a deal breaker, but it was noticeable compared to other stoves I’ve used. If you mostly cook with stainless steel or nonstick pans, this probably won’t be an issue. Once it was installed, I connected the range to the SmartThings app. The app was able to connect the range right away thru my wifi. And once connected, It automatically set the time for me. The app is a great feature when you want to control the temperature, cooking modes, oven light and sounds from your phone. You can even have it sent notifications when the cooktop elements are on. However, your phone may ping often if you do a lot of cooking on the stove top. Also, what I really like about this range, is the precision knobs. My husband and I like the use of knobs for stove top cooking. And I definitely enjoy the air fry feature, which by the way came with a free basket for air frying. Also, with a convection oven such as this, baking would be faster and even. Also, the range uses circulated air when you’re roasting to cook the meat evenly. You can’t go wrong with this range.. I LOVE our new GE induction range. I have to admit, I was pretty uncertain about how I would feel about the change. The thing that bothered me the most was that my favorite skillet would no longer work well on the induction range. My husband purchased a beautiful cast iron skillet that I now love just as much. The range itself really does heat instantly. It can boil tap water in about a minute -- crazy! It is as easy to control as a gas range. The only down side of the range is on one side there are two burners that can be tethered together and operated together for a large pan - think rectangular pancake skillet. This feature is dumb because while the range top has markings indicating there would be even heating on the entire side of the range, including between the burners, that does not happen and you just have two separate hot spots on one large pan. I don't know why they did this. As to the oven, it is spacious -- you could definitely do a turkey. One of the racks pulls out of the oven, which is great. This means when you are doing something heavy or something you need to baste frequently, you don't have to lift it out of the oven -- you just pull out the rack. I like all of the features including the air frier. I should note that this is difficult to initially set up because the air frier will only work via an app on your phone. This means you need to set it up with wifi and that was pretty complicated. Once done, it's done forever (I hope!). The oven does not heat instantly like the range or like a gas range, but it also does not take as long as our old range. I feel like it takes about 12 - 13 minutes to heat up to 450, for example. The heat is even. I haven't used the self cleaning feature, but am glad it exists. I am also pleased with the storage drawer under the oven. It is large and easy to pull out.. Mary In Nor Cal. I absolutely love everything about our new slide in range which we purchased in Dec 2025. We had a Samsung prior to the new one and enjoyed it but this one is supreme. In particular I love the light up dials when the burners are turned on. The oven camera is a novelty, but we rarely use it. The wi fi technology is a treat. We can activate the oven when away from the house and monitor and control cook modes, temps and cook times. The electronic display is super convenient and easy to use. I’ve read reviews that Samsung should have made the digital clock visible at all times. The wi fi feature must be on and the clock will display 24/7. It has a very modern sleek design and we are so pleased with it. The one minor complaint is the narrow grove on the front of the cook top is a very minor irritant to keep clean. It has a round silicone strip in it. You get used to in though. Overall we love this and purchased the extra warranty. Love the dials on and display on the front so much better than the back display models. Preheats super quick and temp is consistent. Would definitely purchase this again and highly recommend. Also love the alerts that come to my phone when burners are turned on, preheating done and cooking completed. I can also see if and burners have been left on when away from the house. Overall very good for a narrow profile stove for a small condo unit. However, the available specifications suggested there was open space at the back for power and gas lines, but this is not the case. There is only about 3" on either side, which required moving electrical outlets and the gas line in order for this to slide into place properly. This is the cutest little gas range. I’m funny about how things look and this is really attractive. Comes with kit to convert to propane. I got a little scared when the back of the stove said natural gas only. And then realized that’s if you use that particular connection, so don’t freak when you see that. It has enough racks. It’s a convection oven as well, which is awesome for making things on several racks with even baking. Perfect for cookies, instead of having to bake a batch at a time. Has a drawer on the bottom for storage . There was absolutely nothing to do when you unpacked it, all the parts were there. Packed extremely well. There are a couple of interesting things about this range I wish I knew before ordering. I will say this range does look really great if you can work around the weird issues. 1) this range is not normal counter depth, which means there will either be a gap in the back, or you will have to have this pushed further in than your cabinets (which I think looks strange). I’m sure this information is in the specs, but it was something I overlooked (that’s on me. I was only looking at the specific width I needed). 2) there is no space underneath the range for your 220V outlet. Our old range had ample space, so I didn’t think we’d have an issue but we did. The only work around we figured out was to remove this massive granite block attached to the range that acts as a weight. Something I thought was very strange. Lol 3) This range does not come with a power cord. We were able to use our old one, but just an FYI that you will need to have one handy. Again I’m sure this is in the description somewhere. 4) there were some pieces that feel a little cheap (like the bottom drawer and the way the oven glass is attached.
