Best purchase from Wayfair!! A hose from the propane tank to the heater is not needed. We used it in the garage while we work on our cars or to play games. Can be used with the garage door closed. I have two large rooms that are 30 x 50 so I have 2 duraheat 10000 watt heaters. They are strong enough to keep temps steady in an insulated area even when it is below freezing outside .
