This chest freezer is the perfect size for what I needed! It is so quiet you do not even hear it when the compressor does kick on. The deep freezer has stayed at a consistent temperature even when I am adding things to it. It is small enough to fit almost anywhere in my house, but yet, still big enough to hold all of my garden vegetables that I have frozen plus room for a quarter of a cow in the future. The only thing I would change about it is the temperature dial is right on the front and lit up. I have small kids so they are automatically drawn to it. It would be perfect if the dial was on the side, out of sight out of mind. Other than that, you cannot go wrong with this purchase! Delivery and packaging were also amazing.. Shandi. Nitro, WV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's really too soon to seriously rate this freezer. It is functioning perfectly after two weeks, but it's long term reliability is still unknown. I replaced a 17 year old 14 cf Fridgdaire that was struggling with this one. Some things I noticed on the new one is that there is no temp control on the door that the old one had. Also there is no formal door handle, just an indentation in the door. However, the new one has glass shelves vs the wire shelves on the old one. So I would call it a draw in quality.. Duffy Dufus. The product was exactly what I was looking for. However, the plastic film covering the freezer was VERY hard to remove. Furthermore, it's a good thing that I did not have to reverse the door because I could not remove the hardware when I wanted to reach the plastic underneath it. I ended up scratching the surface. I have now had the product for almost 6 months. From the beginning, it began making loud popping noises. Originally, I believed these noises to be coming from my downstairs neighbor. However, once I disconnected, moved it and left it off, the noises stopped completely. As soon as I plugged it in in another location, the noises began again. I have no idea what to do but these pops are LOUD.. Karen. Hampstead, QC. Tue Jun 16 2026
