We do not have to worry about her falling out since it is so low to the ground. It is a nice dark brown color as well. Goes well with the black cherry furniturebwe already had. Was this helpful? Each individual finished piece inside was also wrapped in thin foam sheeting. The dark wood didn't have a single scratch on it. The assembly was quick and simple. I can't believe how sturdy this bed was once it was put together. I know my grandchild will absolutely love this bed. Can't wait til they come home in a couple of weeks.
