I bought this light to put on the side of my new shop where I have a door to enter or exit. I have a double doors at the end or I guess the front of my shop. I really dont need a light there due to the halogen light that is a back yard light that shines right on my doors. I can open one door and the light shines in if it is dark and I dont have a light on the inside but Im thinking very seriously about putting one of these lights outside the door. Not only do they look nice they let all the lihght out and theyre not too big or too little to me. I would recommend getting this light and the cost is very good or it was for me. I got the blk one and I think you can get two other colors. You sometimes when you order something and after you do it you think, is it any good or should I have waited or gottten a more expensive one..... I have gotten a few things from WayFair and they havent let me down yet and definetly not on this light."..."  Read more

Nice small attractive outside wall lantern. Great to leave on all day or just use as needed. Suprisingly enough this small light puts out plenty of lighting even with an ultra small mini flourescent bulb to brighten up my whole entrance and into my sidewalk a distance.Glass is nice and clear and it has a quality screw in ceramic base. Would diffintely buy again and have just purchased another Nuvo light today.If I was looking for anything that was negative with this light, which I can't think of much, is that the distance from the bottom of the light to the bottom of the ceramic base is a little short making you use ultra mini bulbs instead of regular bulbs that would extend below the light itself. Excellent light with clean lines and easy to change bulbs. This light is the perfect size for our home. I have noticed a lot of people often under-size their outdoor lighting choices. Up close a smaller light might look like a good choice but when looked at from the middle of the street the light will look too small against the outside of a house. A good way to determine the correct size is to consider whether the size of a light is one you would use in a room inside your home. I really like the appearance of the light, but I may not have gotten it if I had known the bulb was so difficult to change. Two small screws have to be removed (with a screwdriver-there is no head to turn by hand) from the top of the light to take off the globe. Since the person must be above the light to access the screws and the light is set at a height of about 6', a ladder is also required. Another source of light must be available, too, because there's no way anyone could see well enough to remove and replace the screws without it. Even with a ladder, screwdriver and light, the process is tricky. One person has to hold the globe and remove the screws with a screwdriver without losing them in the grass or dropping the globe. If the screws had just been the type you can unscrew by hand, the job would be much easier. I wound up getting the super long life bulbs in hopes I don't have to make a change for several years."..."  Read more
