Ended up buying these as they were on sale and they looked similar to some of the other more expensive options out there. After receiving the item I can confidently say the quality is great and can expect them to last for years to come. It is hardwired so you will need to do the wiring for it. If you aren't experienced in electrical work, it would be best to get someone else to do it, that is. With that being said, the installation process was quick and easy. The lantern was up in no time and it really looks great!! It's not too big and not too small, it is just the right size for my home. Also, it looks well made and feels very durable and I do see this lasting a good while. A bulb is not included but I had my own so that was no issue for me. When illuminated, it looks so nice. The light shines through the top and the bottom and casts a nice shadow on the siding of the house. I really do love seeing it when I drive up at night. Another great purchase from wayfair! We had originally purchased a similar set and loved them so much that we wanted to change our front light out to them. They turned out to be a little too small so we looked until we found a similar design. This one is perfect! This oversized design looks amazing on the front of our home. We would have loved if it was a dusk to dawn or similar feature but even as a regular light, this works great. We just purchased bulbs that did what we needed.
