I purchased this set for my girlfriend who had a ratty mix of pots and pans. This set not only cooks without need for butter or oil, but is best over low heat. The clean-up is excellent. Everything just rolls off the pans. The concentric rings really help to cook things quickly and evenly. At one time I owned an elegent set of copper pans which need a lot of care and periodic re-coppering which did not cook much better than this set. I don't think you can go wrong with this set...they are top of the line and will last a lifetime with care and have a lifetime warranty. They can be used in the oven and have a silicone handle system so you don't need potholders all the time. Finally, the glass tops are perfect for minding the food. This purchase was a splurge for me. Thank goodness for the sale price! It is not only beautiful, it makes cooking easier and much more pleasurable. For years, I had used lower-priced non-stick cookware, and although I treated it gently and always followed usage and care instructions, it never looked good for long, and didnt heat evenly. It was easy to scorch food before it was completely done in the middle. This purchase was a splurge for me. Thank goodness for the sale price! It is not only beautiful, it makes cooking easier and much more pleasurable. The relatively heavy weight of the pots and pans make them more stable on a gas burner, and the handles are cool to touch. They heat very evenly, and this is the first set of non-stick cookware Ive owned that truly didnt require spray or some sort of cooking lubricant. In fact, I can actually cook eggs over-easy and not use a drop of anything - and I still dont break a single yolk. That just wasnt a possibility with any other non-stick cookware Ive ever owned. i cook a lot (at least once a day), I'm totally in love with them.... non stick at all, many useful pieces, the 1 quart one is a little bit small but you ll find some best uses for it, excellent quality... i had a tiny problem with the covers, some of them doesn't fit easily that you have to push a little bit, but I'm used to it now... i tried several brands before, trash! those are the best ever... just go buy them now you won't regret"..."
