Area Rugs

These are very nice cotton area rugs. I was skeptical of getting the mustard color, but I have ended up loving it most. My rating is 4 star, the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because as nice as I think these rugs are I must say there are some loose ends in the construction of it. I fear that with time it could end up coming apart - I puchased these rugs knowing that they are washable - now I will be about half afraid to wash them because of some of the loose ends right in the middle. the rugs are very thick, much heavier and thicker than most rag rugs. This is good because they don't fold up and slide, but I am not sure you could machine wash even the smallest size. We use the rug runner in front of our large sliding glass door to the patio on a travertine floor. Beautiful contrast in colors! It's the only rug in the great room and adds a nice finish. This rug's color is perfect! I just took it to the hardware store to match the color so I could paint my walls the same. Works very well on wood flooring. Heavy rug that will hold up for a long time. If you like things to be perfect, you will not like this rug, as it is made by hand and will have imperfections, however, the imperfections make this rug have excellent character.
