Or I suppose it could be for overflow There was no diagram of the rain barrel explaining all the nuances. I’m concerned mosquitos will find these holes as well as the two holes at the top of the barrel in the channel near where the water is collected.. Paula. Fort Worth, TX. Sun May 17 2026

I love this rain barrel! Of course, as soon as we installed it, it didn’t rain for almost a month! But when it finally did rain, it filled up fast! I just ordered my second one! It was very easy to install. The only negative things I can say is 1) The top planter was misshaped, but once I put dirt and flowers in it, it fixed itself. There was not a problem flipping it and putting the top on without the planter side up. 2) It seems like when the barrel is filled to the top, the plants sit in muddy water. But that’s really not a big deal. You just have to empty some water out.. Rebecca. New Palestine, IN. Thu Jul 21 2022

The Elevated Garden Rain Saver is a 42-gallon colonial-style rainsaver constructed of thick and durable plastic. With the appearance of a classic colonial planter box, the strong, regal lines and trim make it an attractive accent piece for your home's exterior. The top is a 1-cubic-foot (7-gallon) planter with an integrated channel that diverts overflow to the front and away from your home's foundation. The flat-back design allows you to position the unit close to walls or flat areas, and two brass spigots are included for the offset spigot locations.

Great water catcher that looks pretty without being an eyesore. Easy to put together. My only issue is the white is not pure write. We haven’t had any rain since putting it together so I can’t say weather or not of the water part works but it will look nice in the mean time.. Lo. CO. Sun May 17 2026

Mixed review on this rain barrel because I love the way it looks, the planter on top is super cool, and it worked great for a couple of months but then the part that attaches the hose to the barrel almost disintegrated and the hose no longer stays in. The excellent news is that when I called, Wayfair is replacing it so hoping for better luck with the second one.. Robin. Superior, WI. Wed Sep 16 2020
