My husband and son put it together in 3 hours. It really helped to have the second pair of hands. The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor. The real wood, water-based stain panel design gives this privacy screen a stylish look in any yard. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Our powder-coated aluminum posts prevent rusting and provide stability to your screen. This screen is no-dig and very easy to install without tearing up your yard or leaving large holes behind.

It’s okay. It is easy to assemble. There is no bottom. The fenced pieces just stake into the ground, they don’t actually attach to the base or each other so the corners have small gaps. This is perfect for our yard at a great price. We dug up the sod in a 9x9 space, then smoothed out the dirt and laid landscape fabric down. We assembled the boxes on top of the fabric. The assembly took less than 15 minutes. Then I cut out the landscape fabric from the center of the boxes leaving it intact under the box itself. We shoveled in soil that was left over from a 6.5’x3’x6” excavation that I did to lay pavers for our grill, added 2 10lb blocks of coconut fiber that was rehydrated, then put in 30 bags of topsoil (.75 cf) and 5.5 bags of cedar mulch. Make sure to get zip ties. Zip ties work the best and are easy to use. Also this is a fence/screen. It must be attached to posts. I attached one end to an existing wood privacy fence.
