I needed a hutch-like bookcase for my console, so I got this bookshelf. It was not packed well - some chips on the shelves and the dots were bent. The instructions are 27 pages. READ EVERYTHING AHEAD-shelf labeled 5 must absolutely be positioned with the center hole on top. There absolutely should be more dowels and better fastening options. The endless cams are not the most secure. Also, you have to use the dots to hide them, which is not attractive. It took about 2 hours to assemble with one person. I do like the page that shows the exploded view, that was helpful. Overall, its fine. It does what I wanted, but I bet it will fall apart if I tried moving it in a year - I bet all the cams will loosen. It does say to tighten occasionally, but the cams are hidden under the adhesive dots, which makes that basically impossible.. Carrie. Lynchburg, US. Mon Oct 12 2026

This shelf is sturdy and does the job. It looks great as well. Easy to put together but you need a second person to help move it as it’s heavy. So happy with how it came out. We needed more space for books and larger cubes and this was perfect.. Roni. New City, NY. Thu Jul 23 2026

This 42.2-inch high bookcase can be placed not only vertically in your home, but also horizontally as a storage cabinet. Available in black and white, it is especially suitable for people with large storage needs at home, not only for books, but also for various miscellaneous items, plants and other things. Study, living room, bedroom or office can be used, functional, sturdy and practical.

I bought the taller one, 5 shelf, in brown and two of the smaller one, 3 shelf, in gray. **The 5 shelf case was better quality. The backing was partical wood pieces like the rest of the case. All of the wood pieces were laminated (vinyl) on both sides (even the bottom) with exceptions to some edges that do not show from any angle. This was important because I wanted it to go sideways under my rack of plants to give it some height. Also the little adhesive circles that cover the metal parts was made out of the laminate material and stuck quite nicely. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the brown 5 shelf case. ** The 3 shelf case was not great. The backing was one piece of thick cardboard (Like you usually find in this type of case) instead of particle wood. Many pieces were only finished on one side. If it was meant to be an under side, it did not have the PAPER laminate. Two problems, when taking off the number stickers, it took the finish off as well and when I flipped one of the two (I wanted to stack in L shape) on its side, all the under sides are unfinished. The little adhesive cover up circles were made of paper material and barely stick. One of the boxes, they were all bent so they do not lay flat or stick well. Two stars ⭐️⭐️ for the gray 3 shelf case.. Bobbiejo. US. Fri Oct 09 2026
