For what this is,, an inexpensive, tall narrow bookcase, it is decent. It is very hard to find the case the arrow so I was glad for it. But it’s definitely laminate MDF wood. For the price in the particular use, I needed it for it works really well. Also, I wasn’t sure if I would like the black interior, but it’s actually nice and makes it look a little more expensive than if it was all fake walnut MDF on the inside.. Leslie. Valley Village, CA. Nice bookshelf, great silhouette, and seems a little roomier than I anticipated (which I'm glad). Like other reviews said there are some small cracks in the paint, and there are some irregularities in the paint (glossy and flat areas). Overall it's flaws will not be very noticeable where I plan to put it and I'm very relieved there was no damage during shipping.
